Mike Boyle's Autobiography (submitted 5/9/06)

When I was ten years old me, my dad, and my uncle all went to a Phillies double-header against the Arizona Diamondbacks at Veterans Stadium. We arrived to the first game a little late and some guy gave me a program. I got two hot dogs and a soda and we went to our seats. During the first game Bobby Abreu hit a three-run home run. That proved to be the deciding factor in the game. The final score of the game was 5-2, the Phillies won. Between the two games I caught one of the shirts that the Fanatic was throwing out to the crowd. After catching the shirt, me, my dad, and my uncle were on T.V. The second game started around 7:30 and that game was a lot closer then the first game. The game was tied into the ninth inning. Mike Lieberthal was on third after hitting a double but reached third on an error committed by the Diamondbacks. Jimmy Rollins was at bat and with a 2-1 count, hit a game-winning RBI single. By the time that both games were over it was around 11 o'clock and I was tired. I fell asleep in the car on way back to my house and went to sleep as soon as I got home.
