Your Autobiographies Philip Di Marco's Autobiography (submitted 4/5/06) From the time I was about 7 years old, I enjoyed watching pro-wrestling. At that time in the early 1970's the W.W.E. was from 48th and Market. I always wnated to do something with pro-wrestling from the time I was in grade school to high school and till today. I kept saying day after day, "You're going to see me on T.V. someday," and kept telling friends that I wanted to be a wrestler. Then one day, about 6 years ago, I was telling a co-worker about my dream of becoming a wrestler. He in return said, "If you want to do something in that line of work, I will let you meet a friend of mine who is a pro-wrestler." "Dozar," as he was known then, had called me a few weeks later and asked if I would like to work with him doing a wrestling match on July 27, 2002, in Ardmore, PA. And in a New York minute, I had told him, "Hell Yes!!" So now, I had a debut date with only a few weeks to come up with a great ring name. One night I turned on the T.V. and saw Miss Universe, and loved the name "Cyprus." So, my first match, I was the manager for "Stone Cold" Steve Austin's brother, "Ice Cold" Billy Austin. After a lifetime of hard work and dreaming of being a wrestler, I'm still known as "Cyprus" for the W.P.W. |
