D'Ava Newman's Autobiography (submitted 5/17/06)

Homecoming

When I come home in the afternoon, I hear my older brother blasting his rock music from his bedroom, a welcoming sound to my ears. I smell my perfume, which means that my younger sister was probably messing in it again. I go upstairs to my room where my stereo awaits to be played. Then I start to paint in my sketchbook. My inspiration comes from the music, and the vibrant things around me.
