Many American institutions own examples of the same or very similar patterns, among them the Wadsworth Athenaeum, Yale's Mabel Brady Garvan Collection, The Historical Society of Pennsylvania, and the Winterthur Museum. Winterthur's collection also includes a large spread (1974.0135.01), and a quilt whose facing is the scene printed in red (1967.0074). The quilt will be illustrated in the forthcoming volume on quilts authored by Linda Eaton, Winterthur's Curator of Textiles.
