 The Abbé Rochon studied at the royal Cabinet de Physique at Passy. It is believed that this instrument was demonstrated to Franklin by him in Jefferson's presence. It was among the scientific instruments inherited by Francis Hopkinson, and given to Jefferson by Hopkinson. |
