A copy of the medal hung at Monticello, according to the notation in the records from Monticello: "'Franklin, a medal of bronze by Dupre.' It was hung on the wall in the tea room." The pictured medals in silver were sold at Stack's auction, John J.Ford, Jr. Collection, May 23, 2006, lot 345.
