The table is rectangular, with its skirt (front and sides only?) cut away in a series of scrolls. Its cabriole legs have shell knees and terminate in claw-and-ball feet. Its top is a slab of marble, which is loose (i.e., not set into or attached to the frame, but kept in place through its own weight).
