The chairs were acquired by INHP from Mr. and Mrs. James F. Sherron, Jr., of Reading, PA in 1965.

A previous owner was Miss Evelyn Stull. Nothing in INHP records show how the chairs were acquired by M/M Sherron.

The father of Miss Stull was Adam Stull, cited in INHP file as President of an insurance company in Philadelphia. The family of Miss Stull's mother was Yearsley. A note says they lived on Powelton Avenue.
