We will celebrate the 300th Birthday of Benjamin Franklin with cake, coffee and Open Mic Aphorisms. We will also draw a winner from our Mixed-Up Maxims Contest. As a salute to Benjamin Franklin, Shaker Library will celebrate a year of Healthy, Wealthy & Wise programs, based on one of his maxims, "Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise." The community is invited to Ben Franklin's Birthday Party and to return throughout the year for a series of programs designed for our readers' health, wealth and wisdom.
